Откровенно говоря, слабенький фильм. Неудачная попытка создать картину для всей семьи. Взрослые далеки от того мира игрушек, детства, волшебства, который показан в фильме. Детям же нравится следить за поведением обидчивого магазина, но им совершенно ни к чему слушать философские рассуждения о смерти.
Конечно, в фильме есть немного юмора и лёгкой грусти, есть призыв верить в себя, верить в сказку, но этого мало. И если бы не музыка, немного однообразная, но всё же довольно милая, лента не имела бы никаких шансов. Ещё отзывы

Прекрасный фильм, очень понравился! Там столько удивительных вещей в этом фильме и вообще этот фильм можно смотреть всей семьей тысячу раз, потому что, смотря его каждый раз, тебе хочется смотреть и смотреть этот замечательный и чудесный фильм.

Отличный фильм для всей семьи! В нашем скучном и сером мире жалко, что нету волшебных лавок, волшебников и волшебства! Актёрская игра Хоффмана порадовала без сомнений, чего не скажешь о игре Натали Портман, хотя фишка её игры на рояле(пианино) была бесподобной. Саундтрек заслуживает высших похвал. Александр Деспла и Аарон Зигман выполнили свою задачу на 100%!
